June 2009

We're sorry that it's taken so long to put a post on our blog. With not having internet at home...well, things like this just don't get updated very often.
Anyway...here are some pictures of Adam. Some times he loves his Bumbo, some times he hates it. No matter what, he's always got a cute face.
Love to all of you!

Growing too fast...

It's been a while since I've been able to go on the internet...so, now that I've got the chance, here's a short update on Adam and me. Adam is growing everyday. I haven't really noticed it, but Perry says that he's bigger each day that he comes home. I guess that's a good thing. Also, Adam is starting to get a look and attitude of his own. It's been fun to watch his facial expressions and his funny little gestures. Baby's are such a miracle and I've been able to witness that these last couple of weeks. As for me, other then being sleep deprived, I'm doing fine. Heeling well, trying to stay hydrated and fed - breastfeeding really takes a lot out of you (literally!). It's been quite the ride trying to get accustomed to being a mother. Wow! I'm a mom. Still can't believe it.
Okay, well it's time for me to go. Hope all is well with everyone. Thank you for your prayers and support. God is good!
Here are some pictures...

Fun times!

I got to go to an indoor MX track last Monday. It was a great time!!! Look forward to doing it again this coming Monday night!

All is well at home with LeAnn and Adam.

Back to work I go...

Weekend Fun

Friday night LeAnn had a Baby shower at the church. I thought I would make the best of it by heading to Shane’s house to set up the old Cr 125 for ice riding. Dad was free so he came with me, I am sure glad he did! With his help, we were able to be done by 2am! I haven’t been out that late in a long time, I was tired.

On Saturday I put the finishing touches on the bike. During another baby shower LeAnn had on Sunday Shane, Dad and I went out to Lake Sarah for a ride! I have a few pictures of it below.

Shane showing some cornering skills

All in all I would say the experience was very good!

LeAnn had a lot of fun at the showers and now we need to go through all of Adam's new things and put them away! Yay!

Hope all is well,
Perry

Where is the dirt?

I am ready but I dont think it is ready outside...
I have the bikes and I have the gear but what do you know another 8 inches of snow... :(
I guess I will just have to make the best of it, Shane and I are instaling screws in our tires tonight to go for a ride. That should be fun.

Check out my new digs...

And the new bike...

Yup its a CR500!!!
Fun times...
Oh and no baby yet, LeAnn said she is going to hold it in untill the showers are done this weekend then she is going to push it out... we are ready to have him on the outside.

You asked for it and you shall receive!

Belly shot!

We are in our 38th week (almost - not till next tuesday). All is well. Everyone is doing ok. There's really no more room for baby to move, so it's getting pretty uncomfortable. But that's the way it goes. As you can see by the picture, I'm literally "sticking out"! Just the other night, Perry's cousin told me that my belly didn't look real - that it looked like I had just stuck a basketball under my shirt. Well, sometimes it feels that way, especially when baby is pushing hard :) Good times...it's all worth it though!

Counting the weeks - play along!

So, we just had our 35 week check-up. Doc said all was well. LeAnn measured fine and baby's heartrate was 140 b/m. Everyone is healthy and strong. Only 4 1/2 weeks to go.
We have decided to copy our sister-in-law by having a guessing game... Guess what the due date will be and weight of our baby. Post a comment to this post with your guess. When the baby comes we will check to see who gets the closest to the actual due date and size. that person will get a huge prize, like totally huge! (Prize to be announced at a later date.) So have fun with it and we will keep everyone updated!
(By the way, we know it's a boy, so don't guess on the sex of the baby. Then again, we could have a girl - and that'll be a good surprise! It's all in God's hands.)

Ahh, Sunny San Diego!

We're back!
Where did you go? you may ask. Well, we took a trip to San Diego, CA for a week and had a wonderful time in the sun. We enjoyed going to the Zoo, Sea World, deep sea fishing and driving around in the sunshine. We just had a really good time!

Here are some photos of our trip (in random order)...

First Blog in 2009

Just wanted to update everyone since we're in 2009 now.
We're both doing well.
We both still have our jobs.
And we both still love each other very much.
Now isn't that great?!!
I've included some photos from the past few weeks so that you can see a bit of what we've been up to.
(Oh, and yes, I have reached the point where I can no longer see my feet when looking down!)
Hope all is well with all of you. Love ya!
